Gear Care & Maintenance

How do I clean my Drakon batting gloves?

Brush off loose dirt, then wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Never soak them, never scrub — the leather will do its job if you don't fight it. Machine washing destroys leather. Period. Air dry flat, away from direct heat or sunlight.

How do I break in new leather batting gloves?

Wear them. Take BP, hit off the tee, take dry swings. The heat from your hands and the repetition of your grip are what shape the leather — there's no shortcut that doesn't weaken the glove. Most players feel them lock in after 2–5 sessions. If they feel stiff between uses, put them on and flex your hands for 10 minutes.

How often should I condition my batting gloves?

Every 3–4 weeks during the season. If you're playing in dust, heat, or humidity, lean toward more often. If the leather feels dry or looks dull, it's time. Drakon is finalizing our own leather balm — built to our gear's spec. Until it drops, use any quality leather conditioner made for baseball gloves; avoid petroleum-based products, they over-soften and break leather down.

Can I use my batting gloves in the rain?

Don't. Real leather absorbs water and gets weak. If you get caught in a shower, dry them flat at room temp and recondition once they're fully dry. One wet game won't kill them — making a habit of it will.

Why are my new batting gloves flaking?

That's not the leather failing — it's the factory finish wearing off. The topical coat we apply for color consistency will shed a bit during your first few sessions. Normal. It has zero effect on grip or durability. Keep swinging.

How do I stop my gloves from smelling?

Air them out after every use — don't stuff them in your bag wet. If odor sets in, use baking soda sachets or a natural sport deodorizer (nothing with harsh chemicals — they'll dry out the leather). Rotating between two pairs is the real power move: each pair gets time to fully dry and breathe.

How do I clean my Drakon sport sunglasses?

Rinse the lenses under lukewarm water first — this gets rid of dust and grit that would scratch if you wiped dry. Put a tiny drop of mild, lotion-free dish soap on each lens. Gently rub with your fingertips in circles. Rinse clean. Dry ONLY with the included microfiber cloth. Never use your shirt, paper towels, Windex, or alcohol — they damage the lens coatings.

How do I swap lenses on my Drakon sunglasses?

Always start with clean, dry hands (or the microfiber cloth) on a clean surface — handle the frame, not the lens face. Our sunglasses use a tool-free flex-frame system: the lens seats into a channel that runs inside the frame, held by tension. To REMOVE: hold the frame at the top with one hand and gently flex/bow it outward while pushing the lens out of its groove from the inside with your thumb. Once one edge pops free, the rest lifts out easily. To INSTALL: line the beveled lens edge up with the frame channel, then press the lens in — flexing the frame slightly — until it snaps fully into the groove all the way around. Don't force it; if it won't seat, back off and realign. Store spare lenses in the microfiber pouches inside the hard case, never loose where they can rub and scratch.

How do I wash my compression arm sleeves?

After every game or workout — sweat breaks down elastic over time. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, or machine wash cold on gentle inside a mesh laundry bag. NEVER use fabric softener — it coats the fibers and kills the moisture-wicking. NEVER put them in the dryer — heat destroys compression. Lay flat to air dry.

How do I wash my Drakon headband?

Wash it after every intense session. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, inside a mesh bag. Mild detergent only. No fabric softener — it clogs the wicking channels. Air dry. If you're in a pinch between washes, rinse it in cold water and squeeze dry.

How do I clean my Drakon snapback hat?

Hand wash in cool water with a little mild detergent. Spot-clean the sweatband with a soft toothbrush and mild soap — that's where the real grime lives. Rinse thoroughly. Reshape the crown and brim with your hands immediately, then set it on an upside-down bowl or a balled-up towel to dry in shape. Never put it in the dryer. Never soak a structured hat for more than 15 minutes.

How should I store my gear between games?

Gloves: flat, cool, dry, out of the bag to breathe. Sunglasses: hard case, always. Sleeves and headbands: flat or loosely rolled, completely dry before storing. Hat: on a hook or rack, not crushed in your bag. Car trunks kill gear — don't leave anything leather or synthetic in a hot vehicle.

Sizing & Fit

How do I find my batting glove size?

Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger in inches. Match your measurement to our size chart on the product page. Leather stretches slightly — if you're between sizes, go with the snugger option. Your fingers should fill the stalls with minimal extra room at the tips. If the palm bunches or the thumb pinches, adjust size.

How should batting gloves fit?

Snug but not restrictive. They should feel like a second skin — no slipping, no bunching, no cutting off circulation. Leather will give slightly as it breaks in, so a tight day-one fit is the right fit.

How do I size my arm sleeve?

Measure around the fullest part of your relaxed bicep and match to the chart: M fits a 10–12 in (25–30 cm) bicep, L fits 12–14 in (30–35 cm), and XL fits 14–16 in (35–40 cm). The sleeve should feel compressive — snug all the way through without sliding down or cutting in at the band. If you're between sizes, size down for more compression, up for more comfort.

Are your hat sizes adjustable?

Yes — our hats are snapback closure, one size fits most adults. (Fitted sizing may come later as the lineup grows.)

Do your sunglasses fit different face sizes?

Our current frame is an adult one-size-fits-most in flexible, durable TR90 — built to hold comfortably without pinching. A youth frame may follow based on demand.

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

We ship within the United States. You pick your speed at checkout: Standard delivers in 3–5 business days, Express 2–3, and Overnight 1–2. Order before 1 PM CST — Overnight orders fulfill the same day; Standard and Express fulfill the next business day. Shipping is FREE on orders over $100 (PRO members: free over $60). We don't ship on Saturdays, and processing may run longer during peak holiday periods.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we ship within the United States only. If you're outside the U.S. and want Drakon gear, reach out — we'll look at international orders on a per-request basis. Any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees are the customer's responsibility.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We move fast — orders often ship the same day. If you need to change or cancel, email us immediately. If it hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel and refund you. Once it's shipped, we can't pull it back — treat it as a return once it arrives.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number the moment your order ships. You can also see live status and tracking anytime on your order page (or your Account → Orders if you checked out with an account).

What if my package is lost or stolen?

Most orders ship via USPS with tracking, and high-value orders ship with signature confirmation. If a package is marked delivered but you don't have it — or it's lost in transit — contact us with your order number and we'll work with the carrier to track it down and make it right.

Returns & Warranty

What's your return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to return unused, unworn items in original packaging with tags attached. Used batting gloves — meaning they've seen a swing — are not eligible for return. Sale items and gift cards are final sale. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, unless the item arrived defective or we made an error — then it's on us. Orders placed over the holiday stretch (Thanksgiving weekend through Dec 31) can be returned through January 15 of the following year.

How do exchanges work?

Email our support team first and we'll get you set up. For the fastest turnaround, place a new order for the correct item/size and we'll refund the original once your return is received.

What does your warranty cover?

We stand behind our gear with a 100-day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship — starting from the date you receive your order. This means manufacturing flaws, not battle scars. Normal wear and tear, misuse, improper care, accidents, or modifications are not covered. One replacement per item. Original purchaser only. We review every claim — we're fair, and we expect the same from you.

What's NOT covered by warranty?

Grip wearing down from use, leather softening over time, cosmetic scuffs, damage from machine washing or heat drying, exposure to chemicals or extreme conditions, modifications or third-party repairs, and gear used as team/communal equipment. If you put it through the grind, that's on the gear — not a defect.

How do I file a warranty claim?

File your claim through the claim form on our site. You'll upload your order number or proof of purchase, clear photos of the defect, and a photo of the item's overall condition — everything we need to start the determination. We review claims within 3–5 business days.

File a claim

My gear arrived damaged. What do I do?

Don't use the item. File it through the same claim form — upload your order number and photos of the damage — and we'll make it right fast.
